Reach the World: Issues Impacting Children, Women, and Families
2017 international leadership conference in Budapest
Budapest, Hungary is the location for the international leadership conference, May 10-13, 2017, held primarily for leaders around the world in ministries for children, women, and families.
"The objective of this conference," says Dr. Willie Oliver, General Conference Family Ministries director, "is to galvanize the energies and ministry imagination of our colleagues around the world from Children's Ministries, Women's Ministries, and Family Ministries to get behind the [Adventist Church's] quinquennial strategic plan of Reach the World."
The venue is the Budapest Congress Center and the hotel is Novotel Budapest City. Speakers include George Barna, Mark Finley, Kiti Freier, Raafat Kamal, Geoffrey Mbwana, and Ella S. Simmons.
In addition to the plenary sessions, each of the three GC departments will host separate tracks for their own leadership training.
