International Women’s Day of Prayer

International Women’s Day of Prayer in Milan (Mirabello Adventist Community), Italy

March 8, 2025 | Inter-European Division | Anny Arce

March 8 was a special day, not only to celebrate International Women’s Day but also for a meaningful meeting within the Milan Mirabello Adventist community. Women, and some men, participated in a workshop that combined art, creativity, and social interaction. The workshop took place in the afternoon in an informal and welcoming atmosphere. People of different ages and interests participated.

Through a simple but very expressive technique, that of using Q-tips and tempera paints, each participant had the opportunity to give vent to his or her creativity. The works, born from the combination of bright colors, became the symbols of a moment of deep sharing. Laughter, chatter, and the desire to experiment characterized the entire meeting, turning it into an experience that made the group even more united.

All participants greatly enjoyed the workshop and had a fun and enjoyable time. By the end of the day, not only beautiful paintings but also stronger bonds between people were made, uniting the community through art and creativity. It was an experience that, without a doubt, deserves to be repeated, to continue the cultivation of those bonds that make our community ever more cohesive and vibrant.

We then thanked the guest for her pearls of wisdom and asked for the Lord's blessings.
