International Women’s Day of Prayer
More Than One Day of Prayer in Ventas, Madrid, Spain
March 8, 2025 | Inter-European Division | Lidys Navarro Leal
On Sabbath, March 8, 2025, the Adventist Church in Ventas held a special Sabbath School program that emphasized the role of women, their influence, and encouraged great support in the home and in society.
During the divine service, Sister Amalia Reta Expósito highlighted the faith, trust, and confidence in biblical women as she presented on the topic of the woman who touched Jesus’ garment and was healed of her flow of blood after suffering for several years, as told in Matthew 9:20–31. The central theme of the entire divine worship focused on the need for women to continue to trust and depend on God as their dearest and most faithful Friend. In this way, the Ventas church united to recognize the work, role, and integrity that women exercise when they put their faith in God and dedicate their lives to the service of heaven.
Finally, the message warned about the dangers of the last days, pointing out that trials and temptations will strengthen or test the genuineness of faith. With this call to a solid and genuine faith, the message offered a renewed perspective on how to face the spiritual challenges and the trials of life, always guided by the constant presence of Christ.
