Women lead in celebration of the successful International Women’s Day of Prayer efforts.
Churches across the West-Central Africa Division celebrated the International Women’s Day of Prayer. Since it coincides with the WAD IMPACT evangelism initiative, women took advantage of the opportunity to do service projects in their communities. They visited the needy and donated generously to provide supplies for them. Women gathered in churches, public places, and homes to pray for women globally, the nation, the sick, and the abused. Many non-Adventist women from other denominations joined Adventist women in presenting their requests to God. This year, some unions conducted one-week evangelism during the Women’s Week of Prayer. Souls were brought to God as the climax of the successful International Women’s Day of Prayer celebration. To God be the glory!
