My Sister My Friend three-day conference for teen girls.
For three days the My Sister My Friend conference kept the interest of girls between the ages of 9 and 17. Not only did they socialize and play games, the teens and adolescents attended seminars learning about social engagements/relationships, emotions, abstinence, sexual engagements, purity, resilience, and understanding abuse.
The conference theme “Nurturing Our Walk with God” highlighted the guidance the girls received for developing a spiritual relationship with God. Time was provided for sharing testimonies and praying together.
Plans were developed for more training when the girls went back in their local churches.
KwaZulu-Natal Free State Conference Women’s Ministries conducted the successful workshop in December 2022 at Lower Umfolozi District which is north of KwaZulu Natal Province.
