Training seminars also enhance personal growth.
Inter-European Division (EUD)
[Switzerland] The women were keen to participate, and some came from as far away as Berlin, Germany and Milano, Italy. Others came from the Italian or the German-speaking areas of Switzerland. They were rewarded with a fantastic view of the Vierwaldstätter lake, in addition to the very warm atmosphere. The topics, such as, “A woman of worth,” “Effective public speaking,” and “Creative Bible study” are useful for personal growth as well as for involvement in church and outreach. Thanks to the excellent translators, women from both language groups were able to participate in this seminar held in Weggis, Switzerland, May 31 to June 3, 2018.
The four-level GC Women's Ministries Leadership Certification program is designed to help the women of our church develop skills develop skills that enable them to serve in positions of leadership.
E. G. White reminds us, “There is a higher purpose for woman, a grander destiny. She should develop and cultivate her powers, for God can employ them in the great work of saving souls from eternal ruin.” —Evangelism, p. 465
Developing and cultivating the abilities of women is one task of this department, and one to which we are committed.
