“Praia for Christ” City Evangelistic Reaping Series

The resulting baptism of 31 souls occurred during a women's ministries congress.
“Praia for Christ,” an evangelistic campaign, was held March 15-26. The outreach meetings ended with 31 people baptized. Their baptismal service became a highlight of the Women’s Ministries congress held in Praia, Cape Verde, a few days later.
Gracing the opening ceremony of the congress, the First Lady of Cabo Verde, officially greeted the 700 women gathered from the islands of this archipelago country. She acknowledged and congratulated Adventist women for their numerous contributions on the island of Cape Verde and beyond.
The Cabo Verde Conference Women’s Ministries Congress was held March 29 to April 2, in Praia, the capital city of the Republic of Cabo Verde. The Cabo Verde Conference is in the regional territory of the Western Sahel Union Mission.
